Meet Elaine Ardizzone!

Elaine Palminteri Ardizzone has been teaching wine and food classes since 1993 after graduating from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

She has opened and operated multiple successful restaurants and businesses both in Colorado and San Diego, where she developed overall concepts, menus, & wine lists and created specialty desserts daily.

Her multi-faceted experience in the hospitality industry and vast food & oenological knowledge makes her uniquely skilled to create and tailor food and beverage programs that educate and enhance the F&B experience as a whole. Elaine received her "Certified Sommelier" degree from the Court of Master Sommeliers at the top of New York's World Trade Center and has taught Wine & Food classes to the public and the trade for years (her own restaurants; Disneyland; The Prado School of Food & Wine; Women's Wine Alliance; San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival, etc.)

She is the co-creator and co-founder of Sweet Cheeks Baking Co. with business partner Donna Cellere. Designing custom cakes & desserts for retail & wholesale in San Diego, this woman-run company has been featured on TLC's "Fabulous Cakes," Food Network's "Road Tasted with the Neelys," TLC's "Ultimate Cake-Off!," and recently won Food Network's "Cupcake Wars!" The company's focus is beautiful and creative cakes with healthful ingredients snuck into them, and their goal is to enjoy life while loving what you do for work. Elaine's loves to share her desserts paired with deliciously decadent beverages.
